  • Do I really need to maintain my website?

    Yes, maintaining your website is crucial, much like maintaining a car. Imagine your website as a high-performance vehicle that drives your online presence. You wouldn’t drive that car for years without ever changing the oil or getting it serviced, as it would eventually lead to poor performance and costly repairs.

    Similarly, neglecting your website’s maintenance could result in security vulnerabilities, slow loading times, and a poor user experience. By investing in regular website maintenance, you’re essentially giving your “online vehicle” the care it needs to operate at its best, impress visitors, and stand out on the digital highway.

  • How often will my website be backed up?

    We perform regular backups of your website to ensure that your data is safe and secure. Backups are done daily or weekly to your cloud hosting server or secure remote storage, depending on your specific needs and care plan level.

  • What security measures do you implement for my website?

    Our security measures include regular security scans, firewall setup, malware monitoring, and SSL certificate management to safeguard your website from potential threats and vulnerabilities.

  • What website changes are included in support hours?

    Changes include any text or image change that will take us 30 minutes or less. This typically covers things like updating page content, adding a testimonials section or editing your menu items.

    These tasks do not cover advanced or custom features like an online shop or membership section. They also don’t cover graphic design tasks.

    Simply send us an email with clear instructions on the content you want to change on your website.

  • What is your turn-around time for updates?

    Typically 1-2 business days for most requests. Keep in mind, if you ask us at 4pm on a Friday – it might be Tuesday before we can get to them, it all just depends on when your request comes in and what it’s for.

  • Does unused support time rollover to the next month?

    We do NOT allow you to roll over support hours from month to month. Make sure you use up the time needed each month. Even if it’s the last day of the month for one request and the 1st of the month for the next, that’s totally fine with us.

  • What if I need work completed that is outside of the care plan?

    We can help you with all your website needs. If you have a task that is beyond what is included in your plan, simply let us know and we’ll create a separate quote for you. See everything we can do.

  • Can I cancel at any time?

    Yes you can. There are no lock-in contracts unless you have signed one as part of a project. Simply email hello@alliancewebdesign.com and we will cancel your payment subscription immediately. Please be aware that there are only a small number of website care plans available. If you cancel, it may be difficult to secure a new spot if you decide to come back.
